Maylippines : Malaysia and the Philippines

Wazzup Pilipinas!

The Student Exchange Program on Japanese Language Education happened last November 12-15 2013.

On November 12, Tuesday, this is the day that we're waiting for.The day that we're going to meet the Malaysian students. We didn't mind the language difference, we interacted using Nihongo and English languages.
At first we had visitor session with them and were able to know some information about some of the Malaysian student. Then we had cultural exchange program, where we both show our culture.

And here's some of the photos taken during our cultural exchange program.

In our cultural exchange program we wore our national costume. We both performed some cultural dance. We also played games being played in Philippines and Malaysia.

November 13 (Wednesday)

In this day we learned many things about banana or pisang in Malaysia. We learned how Japan, Philippines, and Malaysia are related because of banana. We also had a poster-making where we are able to create a new menu with banana. Sachiko-sensei taught all of that to us.

November 14 (Thursday)

In this day our Malaysian friends had a tour here in Manila. And we know that they enjoyed their tour here in Manila.

November 15 (Friday)

This is the last day of our Student Exchange Program. Sad but happy at the same time, that we met them but life must goes on. We had so much fun with them. We really did capture a lot of great moments with them. I know that they, too, had an amazing experience making friends. This is just one proof that nationality, language and even religion should not be a barrier when making friends. I already miss them, I hope, we can experience this kind of program again.
