There are many Filipinos have already paved the way towards celebrity status. We should all be proud that we are Filipinos. Let us all go along with the momentum. It's high time we show the world what stuff Filipinos are made of while keeping our modesty.

Filipinos are known for being a world class performers and artists in the field of entertainment and performing arts.To be an actor in the field of performing arts, you need to have these qualities: singing, dancing, and the most important is, acting. Filipinos has all these qualities. In singing, we have a world class singer Charice. Other than Charice, we also have Freddie Aguilar, Regine Velasquez, Gary Valenciano and other singers.

Charice is known for her sweet and powerful vocal chords. Regine Velasquez is entitled to be the Asia’s song bird and also known for possessing an extensive vocal range. Gary Valenciano also known as Mr. Pure Energy, he is known for his powerful and cool moves plus his singing ability and I really admire what he is doing. And of course who would ever forget Mr. Freddie Aguilar who is known for his Pinoy Rock music.

In the field of dancing, even though we are not being recognize in this field still there are Filipinos who are good at dancing. One of the most recognizable Filipino dancers is Ms. Lisa Macuja. She is known as the first Filipina Prima ballerina and first foreign soloist to ever join the Kirov Ballet.

Even though today’s generation of dancers are not being recognized by other countries. Still we can say we have Filipino dancers that have the potential to be a world class dancer. Some of these are: Mark Herras, Regine Tolentino, Lucy Torres-Gomez and other. Mark Herras is known for being the Ultimate Bad Boy of the Dance floor because of his charisma and amazing dance steps when dancing on stage. Regine Tolentino is known to be the Dancing diva, because of her dancing skills and flexibility and confidence in dancing. And last but not the least, the Goddess of the dance floor Ms. Lucy Torres-Gomez, She is known for her dancing and beauty when on stage.

In the field of acting, we have the famous and popular theatrical performer. Ms. Lea Salonga. She is known to be the first Filipina artist to be signed to an international record label. She is being recognized by her voice and also in her acting skills. 

I as a Filipina. I really wanted to be a performer, I know I can fulfil my dream by believing in myself and also having faith on God. Also I believe there is no such thing as discrimination in showing his/her talent to the world as long as you are confident to show yourself who you are and where do come from, right?

Yes. I believe that someday I will be a performer and being recognized because Filipinos are world-class performers.
