The Happiest Fiesta Ever

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Nowadays, its really good if you could speak English and talk to the world. But as a Filipino, we should not  let our own culture be left behind.

In our school, we have this kind of event in which we celebrate the pinoy culture called as Pistang Pinoy.

I could say that this year’s Pistang Pinoy was the best because I felt the unity of our class as well as our batch. Of course we were dressed in Filipiniana and Barong Tagalog. The food, though only few, we still enjoyed it with our classmates.

The best thing was when the whole batch ordered a cart street ice cream or what we call as dirty ice cream. Anyone could get their own dessert. Actually it became a buffet style ice cream.

Then we played at the corridor. I joined every possible game that  I could and did my best to win. And I got a lot of candies after that.

The Marx people brought a karaoke and we went to their room to enjoy the musics and sang in chorus.

I was very happy that my last Pistang Pinoy in PCSHS was very awesome and I really had a great time. Maybe one day when I'm already in college, this is the thing that I would surely miss  every time the month of August will come.

I really did everything to have the happiest fiesta ever. I danced like there’s no tomorrow, sang like a monster, ate like a giant and played like a child. I didn’t care what others might think as long as 'having a great time. I hope my fellow Pascians enjoyed the fiesta too.

  1. It's good for being a Filipino or any nationality that celebrates his/her being a person and where do you belong. Me as a Filipino it was great to be a Filipino and celebrate this kind of celebration.

  2. The author was right, it is nice to speak in English but we have our own language that we should be proud of. This kind of event makes us unite once more and it is happy to see that all of us enjoyed the pistang pinoy 2013 6th Batch edition :)))
