Mobile Messaging Apps Rumored To Be Used for Spying On Us

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Is the rumor about the popular free messaging app WeChat from China true?

The rumor says that China is the most dangerous in the World for Cyber Hacking and they could easily hack our phone using WeChat and replace the numbers of our friends and steal our private information including our photos, financial information like credit cards and bank accounts, etc... Is this just a scare against WeChat? Although they are not saying for us not to use, install or uninstall this app but they are asking us to please be careful and mindful when using it.

There was this blog posted discussing this that was later discovered that it mainly rips off Techinasia and only adds one editorializing paragraph which sorts of doing the hacking (in this case, plagiarizing).

But get the real facts out there. There's FB Messenger from the USA, Viber from Israel, LINE from Japan/Korea, WeChat/Tencent from China, etc. So if it's any close to being real, then we might as well choose which country you want to spy on your data.
