Building Relationships... Building Memories

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Not every one of us was able to go to beach resorts or pools for this summer, but I know that somehow we’ve spent it in ways that we want to. Just like how I spent mine. Actually, my summer experience may be divided into two major events: One is the scheduled one, while the second one is an on-the-spot event.

For the first part of my summer, I and my friends went to the oldest university in the Philippines, the University of Santo Tomas or UST. It took us quite big money and quite a long time to go there, but when we reached it, I thought to myself: “It was worth it.” On our way inside the University, we decided to take as many pictures as we can.

I was amazed that they were able to preserve some of its historical landmarks which include the arch, some of its buildings and the church. You will also find it wonderful that every part of UST was such a sight to see. Overall, the trip was fun even though we weren’t able to go inside some of the buildings, because some documents were required. I’ll take note of it next time that we visit.

Another event of my summer was when we went to Cubao to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Her birthday was in May, and every May there is a Santa Cruzan in Cubao, that’s why we decided to go there. We expected that the Reyna Elena for this year was this year’s Binibining Pilipinas, Ariella Arida, but she wasn’t around. This year’s Reyna Elena was Miss Universe runner up, Janine Tugonon. Even though Ariella Arida wasn’t around, it’s still great to watch the Santa Cruzan and I hope we will be able to watch the parade again next year.

Even though we weren’t able to go swimming for this year, I still enjoyed my summer vacation. I do wish that in the summers to come, I’ll still be able to have fun. I also wish that next time, I’ll still be able to have good memories to my friends and to my family and I wish that our relationship will still be the same.

  2. Hmmm... who would have thought that summer vacations could be great even without beaches, pools, swim wears, and such. :)

You're good in writing. It's not hard to understand what you want to say to your readers. The sentences and paragraphs are properly organized.
    Good job! :>
