Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and G. Tongi-Walters for the Covers of Mega Magazine June 2013

Wazzup Pilipinas!

This is a repost for Mega magazine as I am helping promote their two cover celebrities.

First is Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and the other is G. Tongi-Walters. Both are maybe in their 30s but they'e both very hot mommas or MILFs - if you know what I mean.

Admittedly, a lot has changed for both Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, and Manila’s former perennial it-girl before leaving for New York to become a serious actress, G. Tongi-Walters.

Regine has been into an adventure in marriage, motherhood, and a renewed love for music. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid is a powerful MEGA Global Pinoy and this June 2013, she graces the cover of MEGA Magazine’s Pinoy Pride Issue - I Am Global Pinoy.

G is now back bringing with her a husband, two kids, and a brand new point of view. She graces another alternate cover of the June 2013 of MEGA Magazine - I Am Pinoy 2.0.

MEGA Magazine celebrates homegrown talent all year round and its pages breathe love for anything and everything Pinoy. But on every month of June (and as we celebrate the month of Independence), MEGA amplifies PINOY PRIDE.

We, along with SMART, proudly present this year’s list of Filipino movers and shakers: The MEGA Global Pinoys. The annual list consists of compelling Filipino men and women who have made their mark in the international arena. These are the likes of Miami Heat Head Coach Erik Spoelstra, pop idol Jessica Sanchez, fashion blogger Ingrid Chua-Go, visionaire Stephen Gan, design wonder Jerome Lorico, and more.

For the first time, MEGA introduces to the country the new breed of Filipinos. Reinvention, evolution, revolution: Pinoy 2.0s made the world their learning ground and has returned home to continue their journeys of success. Carlo Endaya, Mutya Laxa Buensuceso, G Tongi, Marlon Stockinger, Apples Aberin, and Dong Ronquillo are a part of the new generation of Pinoys.

The country has broken new ground in style and beauty. In Best Buys, witness how local retail brands have raised the standard in fast fashion in the local landscape. Get Ready to Wear challenge gender-dressing norms as local menswear pieces are transformed into ultra-femme pairings. Beauty features take on a dreamy after-summer leitmotif with cerulean dreams. Also highlighted is the supremacy of local beauty, featuring top homegrown brands and their makers.

MEGA features on their Travel pages two of the Philippines’ best destinations Balesin Island, Quezon Province and Coron, Palawan.

“It’s great to be Filipino,” shares MEGA Editor-in-Chief Sari Yap. Celebrate Pinoy Pride with us, grab a copy of MEGA Magazine June 2013 Issue!
