Once Upon a Summer : Outing Here, Outing There, and Outing Everywhere

Wazzup Pilipinas!

“I can’t wait for summer to come”, that line is what I often say and what I usually hear from the other students for the whole year around. It is the time for relaxation and enjoyment for everyone. I believe that it’s a vital part of every student’s life. It is the chance for everyone to share time with their love ones.

I’m expecting that my summer break will be just typical, but I’m still longing for a meaningful and best summer ever, hoping to escape my mundane world behind for exotic adventures. I take pictures of every memorable place I stayed.
Outing here, outing there, and outing everywhere. We visited a nice resort in Binangonan, Rizal and I was able to capture a nice scene of sunset. Well, by the power of edit it turns out to be more beautiful. I enjoy spending at the resort with my family.

I also had plans with my friends. We visit a clubhouse in Cainta. We really enjoy our free time together because most of the time that we spent with each other was so busy doing our school requirements. I felt so out-of-place while seeing them floating and swimming, because I don’t know how to. I don’t know how to conquer my fear but I enjoy most of the time while chatting, playing and eating with them.

And my third destination is to Tarlac. My sister and I usually visit my mother and my half sister staying in Tarlac. We never fail to spend some of our summer days in here. We spent most of our time by doing shopping with our mom and I was able to capture a not so busy market of Camiling, Tarlac, less traffic, typical building structure, nice people and simple life.

There are times I am bored some; I just walk around the fields and appreciate the exquisite view. There is no internet connection and television cable the only thing that I can play with is my phone, I usually read stories from Wattpad. While walking I just activate my phone’s camera then click!

Every time we are having vacation in Tarlac, I always expect to have some mountain hiking and feel the fresh and clean water from the river directly from the mountain. Sometimes we also met Aetas while in our way. The only thing that we always fail to do is reach the end of the river which we can see a falls. It is a 2 or more hours of walk and the path are somehow not safe: slippery and steep.

We also stay one week in Pangasinan, our real hometown to visit my cousins and grandparents. What I really miss about there is the sweetest mango I have tasted, better than those of Guimaras’. You’ll just need to get out and pick some mangoes that you can reach and there you have it! I usually sleep late at night because I am catching up with my cousins. And we often stay in the cute hut built by my grandpa.

My out of town vacation just ended. I need to go home to attend my review classes for UPCAT at PTS in Katipunan, specifically inside the ADMU. Well, I enjoy having my summer class. I met new friends from different schools and even from my school. I enjoy that somehow I felt being a college student, no uniform required, a huge cafeteria and a nice room. I’m really glad that my summer turns out to be meaningful and memorable.

Nothing is permanent. My vacation and everyone’s vacation ended. I’d learn many lessons. I learn to be more sensitive and do appreciate small things. I’d also understand that everything happens for a reason and problems are blessings in disguise.
