NBA Global Games Philippines 2013 Tickets Available on June 16

Wazzup Pilipinas!

For as low as Php 550.00, NBA fans can buy tickets to the NBA Global Games Philippines happening on October 10, Thursday at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena in Pasay city. It will be the league's first pre-season game in the Philippines and in Southeast Asia. Tickets will be available starting June 16.

The game will feature the Houston Rockets and the Indiana Pacers.

Tickets for the game are available for purchase online at http://www.smtickets.com.

The NBA Global Games will see eight NBA teams play in eight cities in six countries this October.

NBA media fans were treated with a live coverage of the Miami Heat versus Indiana Pacers game on the huge cinema screen of SM MOA Cinema 4 .

The announcement of the officers of SM and NBA regarding the availability and price of the tickets came after the first half of the game at a presscon held at the Cinema 4. The presscon also included the revealing of the NBA Global Games Philippines logo that will be used to refer to the pre-season game happening in the Philippines in October 10.

There were a few ruckus in the game that made it a little more interesting but seems to put the players in a bad light. It also made me wonder if the tattoos and Mohawk hair made the attitude or is it the other way around.

As of June 1, the Indiana Pacers are one victory away from the NBA Finals as they defated the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the Eastern Finals. That sets up Game 7 in Miami, with the HEAT seeking their third consecutive berth in the NBA Finals and the Pacers their second ever -- and first since 2000. The Pacers limited Miami to 36-percent shooting and dominated things inside, winning the rebounding battle 53-33 and outscoring the HEAT 44-22 in the paint. LeBron James scored 29 with seven rebounds and six assists. Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh combined for 15 points on 4-for-16 shooting.
