A Decade of Renaissance Art Gallery

Wazzup Pilipinas!

The word Renaissance, which means rebirth, is rich with historical meaning and emotion and signifies the highest aspiration of humanity and its search for artistic excellence.

What better name to use for an art gallery that was christened by mutual agreement by the couples Noli and Agnes Romero.

This year, Renaissance Art Gallery celebrates a decade of existence, a feat in itself in the highly competition world of Philippine Art marketing.

Initially, we were somehow surprised why there was a number of guests in their senior years, but I was able to quickly remember that we were attending a celebration of the arts to honor those that took their artistic creations into the peak of existence.

Big names in the art industry worthy of admiration and praise....and all most rewarding to be idolized by the youth of today to continue the generations with the love for the arts and creativity.

As we patiently waited for the opening on the exhibit at the Art Center of SM Megamall in Ortigas, I can't help but take a peek of what would be an inspirational event being a lover of the arts myself and a frustrated painter, artists and any similar or close enough profession.

and when they final let the people in, the amazement to see several works of art was magical. I felt like I was in art heaven and reminiscing the days when I used to draw deeply in search of a motivation and the discipline to pursue a career in the arts.

But my quest for an artist career was shattered by my parents who was more interested for me to earn a living rather than earn a fulfilled life. But I don't blame them during those days when art was not financially rewarding, as it is today, but I do believe that when there is the passion to succeed in a chosen career, then you can do almost anything you desire.

But alas, I was just a young lad obedient to my parents, and now I may seem to have my regrets to instead get an engineering degree which I am slowly giving up and returning to what I really love - creativity at its finest.

But thank goodness I could still appreciate art through the help of exhibits and galleries open to the public who wish to be surrounded with an aura of magnificence and an environment filled with a heart and the passion to express the inner being.

Love live art galleries. We will support you forever.
