Seattle's Best Coffee Celebrates A Hippie Holiday Party

Nobody does coffee like Seattle's Best, which prides itself in maintaining and delivering excellence in every step of the coffee-making experience. From its carefully selected premium coffee beans and nurtured relationships with coffee farmers, to the finely calibrated roasting process that produces its coffee's signature smoothness, to every freshly brewed cup, Seattle's Best thrives on a connoisseurship of coffee unparalleled in the industry. The time and patience it invests in every cup of coffee is unmatched, and is the reason why its called the "Best."

Last Thursday, October 18, 2012, Seattle's Best Coffee launched a Hippie Holidays Party at the Bonifacio High Street In Bonifacio Global City. It offered a lot of fun activities like Silkscreen printing where T-shirts printed the same day where available for the participants, lovely trinkets like smiley pins and headbands were also available for free, a bubble attraction for the kids and the young at heart, a multimedia music booth where kids played with an electronic guitar and drum, also got an opportunity to take pictures with a hippie "bug" automobile, plus tasted some delightful finger foods and bottomless serving of the new Holiday coffee flavors of Seattle's Best Coffee. It's also called a Peace, Love and Merry Christmas event probably because it also made way for the World Vision child sponsorship program where attendees can have the opportunity to sponsor a child in time for the holiday season.

Seattle's Best Coffee brought back two popular holiday coffee concoctions and introduced two, new exciting ones. Returning favorites were Cookies and Mint (a mix of dark chocolate, mint and espresso topped with Oreo cookies) and Coffee Hazelnut (an espresso flavored with hazelnut and laced with white chocolate sauce and coconut). The two new flavors were Caramel Apple (an espresso combined with apple syrup and white chocolate sauce, then garnished with caramel sauce, cinnamon powder and whipped cream) and Espresso Jelly (a perky combination of coffee jelly and espresso topped with whipped cream and coffee jelly).

It was also the day when they introduce the Seattle's Best Coffee Dream Journal, a feature-laden organizer for the year 2013. The SBC Dream Journal is a creatively conceptualized organizer packed with features to gratify the meticulous planner. It is available in five colors to suit everyone's taste - red, yellow, purple, blue and brown. It also comes with free seven drinks, two pastries, a panini and 24 hours free wi-fi. As with last year, part of the proceeds will be donated to World Vision to benefit its children's educational program.

World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with the most vulnerable children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender.

World Vision's various programs, which are all geared towards its vision of fullness for every child, include the promotion of: sustainable development projects (education, health and nutrition, livelihood and utilities development and values formation), emergency response and disaster relief efforts, and overall public awareness for justice.

Later that day, a mini-concert was also held with some performances from celebrity guests.

During the small concert held during the event, Sino Sikat band vocalist Kat Agarrado announced that she has been sponsoring three kids under World Vision, and the host for the night, Mark Nelson proudly informed the audience that he is sponsoring thirteen children, and soon to become fifteen as he plans to sponsor two more children before the year ends.

Be glad that there are thoughtful hearts out there who celebrate life not just by drinking coffee all day, but also by helping out underprivileged children in getting a school education. They get to enjoy the good life by drinking one of the best coffee in town, and try to share their blessings with their fellowmen.
